Top Ten 2014

2014 gave us many great things, from an emotional space epic to the triumphant return of Michael Keaton to Godard wildly dabbling in 3D to the latest masterwork from Canadian wunderkind Xavier Dolan. It also gave us an abysmal new Ninja Turtles movie, the fourth Bay-directed Transformers movie, the worst thing Kenneth Branagh has ever done, and proof that even Liam Neeson's grizzled action hero persona has its limits. So, you know, it's all relative.
